VARSITY THEATRE AUDITIONS--If you wish to join the varsity theatre class (Theatre 8) next year, you MUST audition on Mon., Tues., or Wed. this week. See the post below for details and forms.

 

SHAKESPEAREAN RAP VIDEOS--DUE by the end of class Tuesday!

 

SPRING SHOW--off book Wed., NO EXCUSES by Fri!

• 9am-5pm Rehearsal on Sat., 3/3--BRING A SACK LUNCH!

 

PTA TALENT SHOW--Auditions are Tues. 3/6, 3:30-5pm in the DMS cafeteria! Auditions must follow these guidelines:

• Sing, Dance, Juggle, Tell Jokes, Perform a Scene, Yo-yo...WHATEVER!
• Must have permission form (from your Zone teacher or Mrs. Hadzi)
• Only 8th graders may sing solos
• Solos get up to 2 minutes, duets and groups get up to 3minutes
• All music must be burned to CD at auditions, or you will not be cast in talent show

Interested in taking advanced theatre next  year?

7th graders who would like to audition for the 2012-2013 Varsity Theatre Class should sign up for an audition slot on Mrs. Hadzi's door ASAP.

Auditions are Mon., 2/27 7:30-8am, Tuesday, 2/28 3:30-5pm & Wednesday 7:30-8am

Our annual school musical is Thursday & Friday @ 7pm in the DMS cafeteria!

Don't miss this chance to get extra credit.

8TH gd field trip--Wed. 2/15

8th grade theatre students are going to U.T's Bass Conert Hall on Wed., Feb. 15th.

8th graders--PLEASE REMEMBER $$ FOR LUNCH IN THE STADIUM'S FOOD COURT, OR BRING A SACK LUNCH!

WICKED & UIL REMINDERS

UIL

1.  Be at DMS by 7:45am if riding the bus

2.  Be at Chisolm Trail MS by 8:30 if NOT riding the bus

3.  Students will call parents when they are ready to be picked up (around 10:30am)

4.  Students riding the bus BACK to school will return around 12:30 pm

5.  DRESS NICELY & IN DRESS CODE, PLEASE!

6.  REMEMBER YOUR POEMS!

1.  Students riding the bus need to be at school by 5pm on Sunday

2.  The show starts @ 7pm at Bass Concert Hall

3.  It's a 3 hour show

4.  Dress nicely and appropriately

5.  Remember your audience etiquette

6.  Students riding the bus will return to campus around 11pm...prompt pick up is expected!
