Thanksgiving

Dear Students,

As Thanksgiving approaches, I start counting my blessings...and guess what?! YOU are among them! I know, I know...sometimes it's hard to believe...like, when I snapped at you that one time, or you failed that test...but nonetheless it's true. YOU make my entire career fulfilling and worthwhile. Thank you for your awesome energy and creativity. Thank you for your smiles and laughs. Thank you for learning...I promise, it will pay off one day even if you cannot see how right now. Thank you for challenging me, and thank you for your kind words and gestures from time to time. I love what I do because of YOU. Enjoy your break!

CONGRATS VARSITY THEATRE!

Congratulations to our varsity theatre class for their exceptional performance at the RRISD One-Act Play Contest this past Saturday, 11-12-11! They earned a "SUPERIOR" rating which is the highest possible from the judge!

Varsity One-Act Play Festival 11-12-11

The cast of Law & Order: Nursery Rhyme Unit will perform this weekend at the RRISD PAC for the district's middle school one-act play festival. Here is the rehearsal schedule for this week as well as the performance schedule for Sat.

Thursday, 11-10-11 3:30-6:30pm in the DMS cafeteria, Dress Rehearsal

Friday, 11-11-11 3:30-6:30pm in the DMS cafeteria, Dress Rehearsal

Sat., 11-12-11

8:30 am Report to lobby of PAC (across from McNeil)

8:30-9:30 am Get into costume/make-up

9:30-10:30 am Warm-ups

10:30-11:30 Deerpark performance (could start earlier if other schools run ahead of schedule)

11:30-12:30 Get out of costume/watch another school perform

12:30-1 AWARDS

1-2 Judge's critiques & clean up

2:15 DISMISSED

Parents may certainly come watch us perform at the PAC, as well as other Round Rock Middle Schools. Shows will run back to back, so show times could start earlier if a school finishes early. Attached is the performance schedule for the entire day.
