Ren Fest Information

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Varsity Theatre will be attending the TX Renaissance Festival on Nov. 2^nd, 2011.  The cost of the trip is $45.00 and includes admission into the festival, transportation, and lunch.  Payment is due by October 14^th.  Please make checks payable to DMS Theatre.  If your student is in need of financial assistance, please contact me as soon as possible.  I will keep scholarship information confidential, and will do everything I can to make sure finances do not keep a student from attending this incredible trip.

In addition to attending the festival, many varsity theatre students will be performing in the Ren Fest Theatre Arts Competition that day.  More details regarding that competition will follow.  Parents are welcome to attend, but I can only pay for 5 chaperones.  The first 5 chaperones to contact me, will attend for free.  If you would like to attend but are not chaperoning, visit the Renaissance Festival website ASAP in order to get advance ticket prices: http://www.texrenfest.com/school-days

6am       Meet at  Deerpark Cafeteria and leave for festival

9am       Arrive at Festival in Plantersville, TX

4pm       Leave Fetival for Austin

7pm       Arrive at Deerpark and students should be picked up by parents/guardians
