October begins!

That means we are starting our 7th week of school, and the start of the 2nd grading period already!

Art I - is currently working on skull self portraits, painted with acrylic paint in complimentary colors on a 9"x12" canvas.

Studio Art 7/8 is working on their geometric forms drawing. Students selected a geometric form to draw, in repetition, and use the drawing techniques of hatching and shading/blending with the tortillions we made in class last week. Drawings are due on Friday October 7th.

The week of October 10th I will be out of state. We have another certified art teacher, Mr. Mayfield with us for the week, which means that all learning and creating will continue as planned. I will not have email access during my absence; any emails sent will not be returned until October 17th.
